This foundation generalist practice course prepares students for direct services work with individuals and families through an introduction to strengths-based assessments and effective evidence-informed interventions using a cross-cultural perspective. The course emphasizes interviewing assessment case planning and case management skills and knowledge of theoretical frameworks as they apply to individuals and families.
